AD Germany: Social Branding & Performance Design

  • Design Problem

Except for the print magazine, there were no established design guidelines for the digital channels, with the website being the sole exception. The design templates had to prioritize simplicity for accessibility, catering to both designers and non-designers involved in campaigns. Ensuring a unified and consistent visual identity with the website was a top consideration for me.

  • Process & Roll

Similar to the conception of the brand identity for Vogue Germany, it was important to work together across teams. In collaboration with the performance marketing team, the print designers, the social media team and the UX designers, templates were created that fulfil the needs of all stakeholders. My roll included creating the templates, carrying out design sprints, incorporate feedback and finalise the approved templates.

  • Design Solution

The templates were designed to empower even non-designers to make swift modifications without compromising aesthetics. This streamlined the process, enabling rapid execution of campaign productions.

For the team's convenience, a designated folder housing various designs was established. It is organized according to specific products and formats, encompassing Instagram Stories, feed posts, and other related items.

Additionally, I implemented an editable design guide on Google Docs. This facilitates the seamless integration of new design updates and promotes collaborative efforts for a more efficient workflow.
