Vogue Germany: Social Branding & Performance Design

Design Challenge
Apart from the print magazine, there were no design guidelines for the digital channels - apart from the website. The designs templates had to be easy to use, because even non-designers would use them for campaigns. It was also important to me that we had a consistent look and feel with the website.

Process & Role
I worked crossfunctionally with the performance marketing team, the print magazine art directors and the ux designers to create the templates. The templates were designed so that the text and images could be changed quickly by non-designers. The title safe zones were defined using markers so that they would not be overlaid in the Ads Manager interface.

Design Solution
The templates were created in such a way that even non-designers can change them quickly without having to change the aesthetics. This ensured that campaign productions could be carried out quickly.
A folder with designs was created for the team. This is divided into the respective products and formats: Instagram Stories, feed posts and other products.
I also created an editable design guide in Google Docs. This makes it easier to incorporate new design changes more quickly and to work collaboratively.
